Dear god, that poor Mazda. At least the Nova has an excuse, it’s 46 years old.

i live in quebec, so i am 100% the other side is the same.
most early mazda 3s and 6s have rusted out logos, and rear brake lights.
my protege5 was rusted just like this
I even got the dealer rust proofing done when i bought it.
just like this too stuff like this was showing up in less than a year

Looks like the Mazda got some acid rain or something

no just salt they put on the roads, and rain/snow.
this is a very common sight for Canadian mazdas.
i could basically take a walk on the street and find a few almost just like the picture.
Rust kills cars in canada, not millage.
I had a 97 jeep TJ with a frame made out of swiss cheese.

I see 90lbs. of scrap iron! ( the old Ford FE 2bbl. intake manifold).

Damn, good eye! The old 2BBL is in the Holley 4BBL box to the left of the parts rack :)

The frame rails probably look worse than my $400 Probe’s did. And they had become C channels instead of fully boxed.
